Also at The Iron Lady premiere in New York, Olivia Wilde was perfection in Dolce & Gabbana.

 

Kate Beckinsale dazzled in sparkling jersey by Michael Kors for a Flaunt magazine event.

 

For the premiere of her film We Bought a Zoo Scarlett Johansson chose a va-va-voom two-piece number from Dolce & Gabbana.

 

Jessica Biel was right on trend in a lacy Valentino dress for a Charity:Water benefit.

 

Olivia Palermo feted the launch of the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum in sweet and sassy Marchesa.

Red Carpet Inspiration: 'New Year's Eve' L.A. Premiere

Last night's New Year's Eve premiere in Los Angeles was perhaps one of the most stylish movie premieres we've seen in a long time. We were especially taken with Fergie's look: a strapless mirrored dress from FIDM Grad Monique Lhuillier's Resort 2012 collection. --Angel

The Duchess, on the red carpet to support hubby Josh Duhamel (in Calvin Klein), looked particularly Fergalicious in a sassy silver frock by Monique Lhuillier.

 

Lea Michele was stunning in a champagne-hued Valentino gown.

 

Hilary Swank chose a sparkling cocktail dress by Elie Saab in one of the season's hottest colors--navy.

 

Zac Efron sported a steel-colored three-piece suit (and a five o'clock shadow that made him look dreamily moody and dark).

 

Katherine Heigl was classic in a lace Dolce & Gabbana dress and sparkling jewels.

 

Also in Dolce & Gabbana, Michelle Pfeiffer was plum pretty in the other color of the moment.

 

Abigail Breslin chose a romantic tulle and corseted number by Marchesa.
