Red Carpet Inspiration: The Met Opera House & Sucker Punch Premiere

From L.A. to NYC the stars were shining brightly in dramatic, floor-sweeping gowns at New York's Metropolitan Opera House and in Los Angeles for the premiere of Sucker Punch. --Angel

Sucker Punch actress Vanessa Hudgens dazzled at the film's L.A. premiere in a shimmering, sequined gown from Jenny Packham.

 

Malin Ackerman was red hot on the Sucker Punch red carpet in a floor-length crimson dress and neutral-colored belt.

 

The lovely Abbie Cornish chose a brilliant, drapey cobalt Amanda Wakeley gown for the Sucker Punch premiere.

 

Claire Danes attended the premiere of Le Comte Ory at the Metropolitan Opera House in a one-shouldered YSL gown.

 

Emmy Rossum showed off her colorful side, accenting her teal YSL gown with vibrant red lipstick at NYC's Metropolitan Opera House.

 

Also at the Met Opera House for the premiere of Le Comte Ory, Julianna Margulies chose a sleek Yves Saint Laurent halter gown.

Prom Dress Donation Drive at JCPenney

Do you have a prom dress from last year that's taking up space in your closet? JCPenney is running a nationwide prom dress drive for teens in need. From now until April 2nd, you can donate your gently worn prom dress at one of over 1,100 JCPenney store locations. The campaign is called, "Wear it, Rock it, Give it."

In return, you'll receive a 20 percent off coupon on any regular or sale priced prom dress redeemable at JCPenney or jcp.com. All dress donations will benefit a local afterschool charity, which will be distributed to underprivileged teen girls in the community following the campaign.
