Dress Like A Movie Star For Prom!

Faviana specializes in creating special occasion dresses inspired by red carpet gowns and dresses worn in popular films. Above is their dress inspired by the much-talked-about number Keira Knightly wore in Atonement.

Below is a dress inspired by the one Enchanted star Amy Adams wore to the Academy Awards.

Since Enchanted was my favorite movie, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite Faviana dresses.

This year our morp theme is celebrity. couples have to go as celebrity couples. i have two questions. 1) what should we wear? and 2) what is a creative way to ask him?

Wow - that sounds like such a fun and original theme!

What you wear depends on the couple you choose. Lucky for you, there are tons of stylish Hollywood couples right now. Here are some hot Hollywood hookups to inspire you:
1. Nicole Richie & Joel Madden
2. Drew Barrymore & Justin Long
3. Victoria & David Beckham
4. Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt
5. Ashley Simpson & Pete Wentz
6. Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale

You can also draw inspiration from celebrity couples of the past, such as Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley or Sonny and Cher.

After you've chosen your celebrity couple, just go online and look at lots of images of the them to get an idea of their general style - that'll make it easier to determine what to wear.

There are lots of fun, creative ways to ask your guy to morp. If you don't already know, find out some of his hobbies then use that info to devise a plan. Here are a few of ideas to get you thinking:

1. If he has a car, offer to come over and help him wash it. When he's not looking, pour baby powder all over the hood and use your finger to spell out the question in the powder. Then tell he missed a spot and show him the hood.

2. Print out a picture of the couple you want to go as and write a clever note on it like "Want to be a celebrity for a night?" Then put the picture at the bottom of a small gift box. Fill the box up with his favorite (wrapped) candy. When he's eaten the candy he'll find the picture with the note on it.

3. Make him a pizza and spell out "Morp?" with the toppings.
